 Power Genetics Co. held their first ever field day-bull sale in Yuma, CO on March 25th. Mark Haruf was introduced as our new Power Genetics Marketing Specialist for the Yuma area. The sale was held at Schramm Feedlot which is occupied by several thousand Power Genetics sired feeders. 

Tom Holtorf, Schramm Feedyard Manager, welcomed the crowd and explained how the PG cattle have excelled in their yard. Randy Lenz, Purina Land O'Lakes, explained the Level 5 Passport Health Program for marketing on Big Blue Sale Barn. Darrell Wilkes, ABS Global, spoke about the new genetic evaluation process with PowerLine Genetics. Jason Anderson, Power Genetics Co., talked about marketing options with Big Blue Sale Barn internet auction at www.bigbluesalebarn.com

Top bulls were all sired by Combination with top bull selling for $3300. 25 bulls were sold for an average price of $2488.
