The Power Genetics Power Weekend started with the Appreciation Banquet at the Chief Motel at 6 p.m. Saturday, Febr 7^th. Approximately 90 people enjoyed the meal and fellowship. Evening speakers were Deryl Wilkes, ABS Global; Jim Barta, Big Blue Sale Barn, and Ron Hinrichson, Allflex USA.  Paul Dykstra, CAB, was the main speaker for the evening. His presentation on " The Future of the Beef Industry" was very informative.

On Sunday, February 8th, Power Genetics sold 77 bulls, primarily A.I. sired by ABS Sires. Average data on the bulls was: BW: 88 - WW: 694  YW: 1287  REA: 14.92  IM: 3.56
